V\u0161eobecne povedan\u00e9, star\u00ed aj nov\u00ed autori t\u00fato vec zahmlili, ke\u010f vykladali P\u00edsmo tak\u00fdm sp\u00f4sobom, aby z\u00e1rove\u0148 uspokojili aj \u00fasudok \u013eudsk\u00e9ho rozumu. Nezdalo sa toti\u017e hum\u00e1nne u\u010di\u0165, \u017ee \u010dlovek hre\u0161\u00ed z nevyhnutnosti. <!--more-->Zdalo sa vyslovene krut\u00e9 obvi\u0148ova\u0165 v\u00f4\u013eu z toho, \u017ee nem\u00e1 schopnos\u0165 obr\u00e1ti\u0165 sa od neresti k\u00a0cnosti, a tak pripisovali \u013eudsk\u00fdm sil\u00e1m viac ako im n\u00e1le\u017ealo. Potom podivne oscilovali, ke\u010f videli, \u017ee P\u00edsmo protire\u010d\u00ed \u00fasudku rozumu na ka\u017edom kroku. Hoci kres\u0165ansk\u00e9 u\u010denie je, najm\u00e4 v\u00a0tejto veci, v \u00faplnom rozpore s filozofiou a \u013eudsk\u00fdm rozumom, predsa sa filozofia postupne vkr\u00e1dala do kres\u0165anstva. Bolo prijat\u00e9 bezbo\u017en\u00e9 u\u010denie o slobodnej v\u00f4li a\u00a0Kristove dobrodenia boli touto bohapustou a telesnou m\u00fadros\u0165ou n\u00e1\u0161ho rozumu zatemnen\u00e9. Pojem &#8222;slobodn\u00e1 v\u00f4\u013ea&#8220; sa pou\u017e\u00edval, hoci je \u00faplne cudz\u00ed Bo\u017eiemu P\u00edsmu, zmyslu a \u00fasudku Ducha. A ako aj uvid\u00edme, sv\u00e4t\u00ed t\u00fdm boli \u010dasto pob\u00faren\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Okrem toho sa prijalo slovo &#8222;rozum&#8220;, ktor\u00e9 bolo prevzat\u00e9 z Plat\u00f3novej filozofie a je rovnako \u0161kodliv\u00e9. Tak ako sme toti\u017e my, v t\u00fdchto posledn\u00fdch \u010dasoch cirkvi, prijali Aristotela namiesto Krista, tak bolo hne\u010f po zalo\u017een\u00ed cirkvi kres\u0165ansk\u00e9 u\u010denie podkopan\u00e9 Plat\u00f3nom a jeho filozofiou. V cirkvi odvtedy neexistuje \u017eiadna nepo\u0161kvrnen\u00e1 literat\u00fara mimo kanonick\u00e9ho P\u00edsma. V\u0161etko, \u010do sa u\u010d\u00ed v koment\u00e1roch, zap\u00e1cha filozofiou.<\/p>\n<p>Po prv\u00e9, my nem\u00e1me \u017eiadny \u00fa\u017eitok z po\u010detn\u00fdch delen\u00ed filozofov pod\u013ea ich nar\u00e1ban\u00ed s \u013eudskou prirodzenos\u0165ou. \u010cloveka del\u00edme na dve \u010dasti. T\u00e1to schopnos\u0165 sa niekedy naz\u00fdva \u201ev\u00f4\u013ea\u201c, inokedy \u201en\u00e1klonnos\u0165\u201c alebo aj \u201eapet\u00edt&#8220;. Nemysl\u00edm si, \u017ee je tu potrebn\u00e9 rozli\u0161ova\u0165 medzi zmyslami a tzv. intelektom alebo medzi zmyslov\u00fdm apet\u00edtom a vy\u0161\u0161\u00edm apet\u00edtom. Poznanie sl\u00fa\u017ei v\u00f4li, a tak vym\u00fd\u0161\u013eaj\u00fa nov\u00fd term\u00edn &#8222;slobodn\u00e1 v\u00f4\u013ea&#8220;, aby ozna\u010dili v\u00f4\u013eu, ktor\u00e1 je spojen\u00e1 s poznan\u00edm alebo s intelektu\u00e1lnym \u00fasudkom. V\u00f4\u013ea v \u010dloveku je toti\u017e ako tyransk\u00fd vlad\u00e1r v krajine: Tak ako je sen\u00e1t podriaden\u00fd tyranovi, tak je poznanie podriaden\u00e9 v\u00f4li. Hoci poznanie pon\u00faka \u010dloveku dobr\u00fa radu, v\u00f4\u013ea ju napriek tomu odmieta a\u00a0be\u017e\u00ed divoko vo svojej v\u00e1\u0161ni. My si neosvoj\u00edme ani pojem &#8222;slobodn\u00e1 v\u00f4\u013ea&#8220;, ani &#8222;rozum&#8220;, ale budeme tieto \u010dasti \u010dloveka ozna\u010dova\u0165 ako schopnos\u0165 pozn\u00e1vania a schopnos\u0165, ktor\u00e1 je predmetom n\u00e1klonnost\u00ed, t.j. l\u00e1sky, nen\u00e1visti, n\u00e1deji, strachu a pod.<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00e1kon, \u010di\u017ee poznanie toho, \u010do sme povinn\u00ed robi\u0165, sa t\u00fdka schopnosti pozn\u00e1vania, zatia\u013e \u010do cnos\u0165 a hriech sa t\u00fdkaj\u00fa schopnosti, ktor\u00e1 je spojen\u00e1 s n\u00e1klonnos\u0165ami. O slobode nemo\u017eno spr\u00e1vne poveda\u0165, \u017ee patr\u00ed ku kognit\u00edvnej \u010dasti \u010dloveka, preto\u017ee je zmietan\u00e1 sem a tam, ke\u010f sa podria\u010fuje v\u00f4li. Sloboda je v schopnosti kona\u0165 alebo nekona\u0165, v schopnosti urobi\u0165 nie\u010do tak\u00fdm alebo onak\u00fdm sp\u00f4sobom. A tak vznik\u00e1 ot\u00e1zka, \u010di je v\u00f4\u013ea slobodn\u00e1, alebo ak nie, tak do akej miery.<\/p>\n<p>Na to odpoved\u00e1m tak, \u017ee ke\u010f\u017ee v\u0161etko, \u010do sa deje, sa nevyhnutne deje pod\u013ea bo\u017esk\u00e9ho predur\u010denia, na\u0161a v\u00f4\u013ea nem\u00e1 \u017eiadnu slobodu. V\u0161etko sa deje pod\u013ea Bo\u017eieho pl\u00e1nu. Ak uva\u017euje\u0161 o v\u00f4li v s\u00falade s vonkaj\u0161\u00edmi skutkami, prirodzen\u00fd \u00fasudok dospeje k z\u00e1veru, \u017ee nejak\u00e1 sloboda existuje.
